  • Malevolent cannibalistic creature that humans could transform into or it could possess them
  • Wendigo Psychosis - a culture bound disorder that involves an intense craving for human flesh, and also the fear that one may become a cannibal.
  • Stongly associated with Winter, the North, famine, starvation, and coldness.
  • Also embodiments of gluttony and greed. They never stopped with just one person and were constantly searching for more.
  • All cultures with Wendigo myths share the belief that humans can turn into one.
