Review

The evelyn project was a compelling ride of a novel. Occult, mystery, magic, and romance all in one.

The dialogue may be offputting to some, it is not traditional in the sense of what we are used to (Modern) however, if you take the time to get used to it then you will find its quite lovely and has its own character. Speaking of characters, The evelyn project has a bevvy of them! There are so many characters that it does seems overwhelming at some points but each one has their own distinct personalities, up and downs.  The other thing is the chapters tend to be small, there are TONS of them, reminiscent of Game of Thrones, I like that actually.

The action is adequate and at times heart-pounding. The romance is sweet and often times makes you wonder. If you are looking for a book full of conspiracy and mystery then you may want to check out The Evelyn Project, you will not be disappointed.
