Thoughts
Moon Rising is a love tale that is told quite well. This is the authors first novel and though it may sometimes shine through (things repeated alot, a few phrases that sounds a bit off) it flows easily and reads better then you would expect.

Nessy is on the run form her maker Hervidor, with the help of the Gulon Hera and her new love Charles she is kept safe from Hervidor, but for how long?

Nessy was a great charactor, she kind of felt like myself at times. A little scared, a little brave, loyal and sometimes confused. You start to really feel for her later in the book and I did enjoy that she wanted to learn about modern day things when Charles was explaining them to her, she is intelligent and kind.  Charles was a miss for me entirely, i just could not find myself likeing him. He just seems, too good. I liked him for Nessy of course but he never really stuck with me. Hera on the other hand I loved instantly, the fact that he can become a beast-like Gulon and that he is loyal to Nessy was sweet.

The ending was good and makes you want to see what happens in the next book. If your looking for a sweet romance vampire story, look nor further! Moon Rising is the perfect romance that mixes mythical creatures, love, loyalty and action, without all the swearing and overly done sexual scenes.
