Since this kit contains professional maximum strength whitening gel, it is not reccomended for use if you have sensitive teeth.

If you want a whitening kit that is gentle and provides results over a period of time (not immediately, as that could be unsafe) then this kit is great for you. It comes with a lot of little syringes full of the whitening liquid, which you only use a few MLs so you really do get 50 uses out of it. I personally loved the syringes because they are also marked with the MLs so you know how much to use. The brush it comes with is a wonderful addition, you can really get in the nooks of your teeth and get every surface available. 

The light was tricky though, if you do not read well (or do not read instructions because you are in a hurry to use it or.. male..) You need to open it up to the batteries and take the little plastic piece out before it will light up. The light is gentle and easy to turn on and off. You get three teeth trays with this, one for top and bottom and one  just in case. You need to boil some water and hold the tray in it so that it becomes pliable and then stick it in your mouth and suck it as close to your teeth as possible so that it will mold around them (if you mess up do not worry, you an do this as many times as you need) You can review instructions HERE for molding the trays. 

The actuall process is easy. The liquid itself once on your teeth bubbles and you can feel it working, it is tingly. I left it on for 15 minutes with the light on it (which fits perfectly in my mouth, my mouth is small and it popped in and out easily) and then took it out with the trays and brushed my teeth afterwards. Be warned, there will be A LOT of drool! you do NOT want to swallow during the process because you might swallow some of the product and may get sick  Cleanup is fast and easy and you can keep everything together in the little plastic bag it all comes in or use a ziploc bag. 

It says for quicker results to do it for up to four hours (not the light though, that must come out after 15 minutes) but I could not see myself using this for that long. My teeth have started to whiten little by little, its  nowhere near sparkle snow white but they do look better. If you are looking for a quick fix this is not for you, but if you want something that will work over time and is safe, then give it a try.
