Review - Quicksilver

Thoughts

Quicksilver was on the whole, average. Thats not to say it wasn't written well or thought out nicely, it was, but there are just some things that truely bugged me about this book.

Quicksilver is your standerd werewolf story Quinton our main guy was transformed into a werewolf by his father after he stole quintons love.

Later Quinton sees his love (serenity) die after giving birth. Cut to 150 years in the future (this happens a bit, skipping ahead days/months) Quinton now lives in modern times, after a fateful encounter with Serry (Serenitys) husband, Quinton finally finds the descendant of the love of his life.

This is where it gets wonky, Quinton is an OK character, hes loyal, has flaws, and brave. Serry on the other hand, i just could not get myself to like her. She was so one-dimensional! I mean really, your going to let a complete stranger into your home two mintues after meeting him? If that isn't bad enough, she is completely, without a second thought ok with Quinton being a werewolf, she dosn't even second guess 'well maby this is a bit off' she just loves him way to much to be bothered by the fact he gets fuzzy once a month. Shes all sunshine and rainbows and that bugs me. One can not fault her for being loyal though.

Quicksilver has no swearing that i noticed, a few sexual points (none detailed) and is for the most part clean. The action is a little lackng but adequate. If your looking for a werewolf romance thats short and sweet, try this one out.
