Goblin


Facts
  • Originated in France
  • Legendary, Evil little creature
  • In some cases associated with the brownie or gnome
  • They are depicted as very small and with magical powers
  • They have no perminant home, they live in old trees or under moss-covered rocks
  • They are tricky and like to amuse themselves by hiding things, spilling food and occasionaly changing signposts thus confusing travelers.

Goblin Quest + the others in the trilogy by Jim. C. Hines - The main character is an uncommanly nice goblin named Jig.
The Goblin Wood by Hilari Bell - The main character allies with the goblins against the humans and cruelness.
Tyger Tyger by Kersten Hamilton - The goblins are the bad guys in this young adult fantasy.
